Pity Venn has no time to visit Beaulieu. Lunched with Maitre Tanguy and wife. Tanguy taking play 'Tanissa' to Paris to show composer Jongen; thinks it should be called 'Midnar' and produced as lyrical drama. Comments of Sydney Carroll on play 'Hush it up'. Pound still falling.
