Typescript letter from W.R. Paterson to Venn Paterson. Hotel Miramar, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, 31 July 1927.
Went with Kate by public auto to Vesubie on 29th. French manoeuvres on frontier designed by Petain. Last met Bury at Edward Clodd's house in Aldeburgh. American book illustrator MacInstry raving about his article on Renaissance. Finished Clemenceau's book.
