Encloses Times article on Asquith. Thanks for Bates book. Still suffering from shingles. Canon Allison had it last summer. Alexander article to be published on March 30th. Shares Hardy's view of universe; met him at Maurice Hewlett's. Vegetarian and never drinks wine or spirits.
