    • 1 item 184 ff Vellum. 184 folios, of which 2 at each end are fragments of an older manuscript written in erkat'agir, dating to the 11th or 12th century. 11.5 x 8.5 cm (written surface 7.5 x 5.5 cm). Text is written in bolorgir in 16 or 17 lines, with bird letters introducing most hymns. Neumes are added. Binding is modern black leather.

Scope and Content

An Armenian manuscript containing:. Manrusmunk', a collection of short spiritual songs. Preceding the numbered folios are 2 folios comprising old fragments in erkat'agir from the 11th or 12th century, containing part of a homily on the Baptism of Jesus. ff.1r-v Incipit. ff.2r-180v Manrusmunk'. ff.181r-182v Colophons. ff.183r-134v Old fragments in erkat'agir from the 11th or 12th century, containing a panegyric of Mary.
