    • 1 item 149 ff Vellum, for ff.20-149, and paper, for ff.1-19, 150-254, as well as ff.82, 83, 134, 135. The vellum sheets are a palimpsest of a Latin mss in Gothic hand, identified by F.C. Conybeare as a canon law book of the 14th century, the rubrics of which are still visible in places. 23 x 18.5 cm (written surface 17.5 x 11.5 cm). Text in two columns of 23 lines. Text is written in bolorgir. Binding is modern half leather.

An Armenian manuscript containing:. The Four Gospels. ff.1v-2r Letter to Eusebius. ff.2v-6r Canon Tables. ff.6v-80r Gospel of St Matthew, with preceding preface and titles of chapters. ff.80v-132r Gospel of St Mark, with preceding material. ff.132r-205r Gospel of St Luke, with preceding material. ff.205r-251r Gospel of St John, with preceding material. ff.251v-254v Colophons. Major decorations:. f.1r Full-page image of the devil and demons trying to pull the souls of the faithful down into hell. ff.8v, 82v, 134v, 206v Portraits of the Evangelists. Arabesques and marginal figures throughout.
