    • 1 item 375 ff Vellum. 375 folios. 22 x 16 cm (written surface 14.5 x 11 cm). Before f.65, two folios have been cut out, and one before f.362. Text in double columns of 18 lines. Text is written in erkat'agir. Binding is dark red leather over boards, with flap. Both covers were once adorned with metal crosses.

Scope and Content

An Armenian manuscript containing:. f.2v Letter of Eusebius to Carpianus. ff.4v-7r Canon Tables (some appear to be missing, perhaps two or more folios have been removed after f.4). f.9 Gospel of Matthew. f.112 Gospel of Mark. f.181 Gospel of Luke. f.290 Gospel of John. f.372 The narrative of the woman taken in adultery. f.373 Colophon. Major decorations:. f.1v Full-page illumination of Samuel (who ordered the manuscript's creation, see colophon) presenting the manuscript to Christ. f.8v, f.111v, f.180v, f.289v Portraits of the Evangelists.
