    • Codex 261 ff Vellum. 261 folios, plus 4 paper leaves (f.1 bound at the end of the manuscript). 23 x 15 cm (written surface 16 x 10.5 cm). Text in a single column of 17 lines. Text is written in bolorgir, with rose-red rubrics, uncial initial letters. Binding is blind-tooled light brown calf, slightly worn, rebound in light brown calf overlaid by the original covers.

An Armenian manuscript containing:. ff.2r-3v Nersēs Shnorhali's Hawatov Khostovanim, verse 17 to the end. f.2v Full-page miniature of the Virgin and Child. ff.4r-26r Canon I. f.26v Blank, except for short inscription. ff.27r-54r Canon II. f.54v Inscription. ff.55r-v Eulogy in verse. ff.56r-88r Canon III. f.88v Colophon. ff.89r-116v Canon IV. ff.117r-148v Canon V. ff.149r-178v Canon VI. ff.179r-210v Canon VII. ff.211r-255v Canon VIII. ff.255v-256v 'Glory to God in the highest'. ff.257r-258v Section of the Armenian Hymnal. ff.259r-v Eulogy on the Psalter. ff.259v-260r Principal colophon. f.260v Later inscription, now erased. Four paper flyleaves, originally a single sheet, with an Encyclical (Kondak) bearing the number 14770 and concerning the sending of the Holy Chrism through a representation. Mentions the Catholicos Gabriēl of Sis (1757-70). Aside from the full-page miniature, illuminations comprise headpieces and marginal decorations.
