Scope and Content

1 talk entitled Halls and Lesser Halls in Huddersfield (77 slides in 1 large grey slide tray). Includes notes on order of Halls in talks to specific groups. The notes include some family background information on the families who lived in the Halls. Halls included are Whitley Hall (Beaumont family), Longley Hall (Ramsden family), Lascelles Hall (Lascelles family), Woodsome (Kaye family), Fenay Hall (Fenay family), Kirklees Hall, Thornhill Hall, Newhouse Hall, Linthwaite Hall, Slaithwaite Hall and Milnsbridge House (sometime home of Joseph Radcliffe). Lesser Halls (all relating to branches of the Brook family) include New House, Blackhouse, Fieldhouse, Old Fieldhouse, Flashhouse, Greenhouse, Hillhouse, Clough House and Woodhouse. Birkhouse, Carr House and Fleming House all in Moldgreen. Also Wheathouse which was not connected to the Brook but the Starkey family.
