A look at Huddersfield's industrial past - Reid Holliday, Birks Mill, Merrydale, Whitley Willows etc. Corn mills, dyeworks, chemical works, sewage works, tanning, textiles, mining, pottery, ironstone mining, coal mining, clothiers, quarrying, workers housing, tenter frames, taking in doors. Power sources for industry - water and steam. It appears that in addition to the main talk, several changes and additions were made from time to time and these seem to be interleaved with the main talk. The sequence of pages are left as originally received at Heritage Quay.
