"Concerto for the Little Flute. In E# / By Mr. Woodcock / 1st. Piece".
Parts. The title and attribution are from the front cover. Not a set of parts, rather single individual parts for three separate works. The two pieces by Robert Woodcock (1691-1728) are in the same hand, and are from his "XII Concertos in Eight Parts" (London, 1727). The part for 1st violin (ff. 3r-v) is from Tomaso Albinoni's "Concerto a cinque" for oboe, Op. 7, no. 6 (published in Amsterdam, 1715). This identification was made by Richard Platt as well as by Michael Talbot. This concerto is copied in a second hand, variously identified as J. C. Smith the elder (1683-1763) or D. Linike (fl. 1712-1721). Wrapper: thick, rough paper, formerly pink. 12-stave MS paper.
