Score. Eight cantatas by Giovanni Bononcini (1670-1747) and Francesco Gasparini (1661-1727), for soprano and continuo (bass is figured). Casing: board, with vellum spine. Title takes from spine: no title page. No original foliation, apart from '72' in ink, on verso of f. 73. Three wax seals with a coat of arms: one on the inner front cover, two on the first folio of music. 8-stave MS paper. In a single hand. Lowell Lindgren (who has supplied all the information concerning concordances given in the individual entries) has identified the scribe as Roman, as is the watermark (two concentric circles with a fleur-de-lys inside and a 'V' above them).
