Testator bequeaths his messuage or tenement in Wicken, and his closes in the parish of Leckhampstead and the residue of his real estate to John Shimell son of Joseph Shimellof Wicken. He charges his real estate with a legacy of £100 to Richard Shimell brother of John Shimell and a further legagcy of £60 to be equally divided between the six other children of Joseph Shimell. He also bequeaths legacies of £20 each to the four daughters of Richard Gill of Preston Bisset, co. Bucks, and Joseph Sear son of Joseph Sear of Adstock, co. Bucks, deceased, £5 to Thomas Arnold of Wicken. He leaves his wearing apparel, his blue chest and two beds to Richard Gill. He named John Shimell as his executor.
