Scope and Content

Testator bequeaths his household goods and personal effects to Thomas Clarke the elder of Wicken, Shoemaker. He then leaves all his real estate in Wicken to Thomas Attwood, on trust to be sold and the proceeds to be used to pau testators debts (including the mortgage or note of hand affecting his real estate). The residue of the money is then to be divided between Thomas Clarke and S.E. Downham of Hampstead. He also names Thomas Attwood as his executor.

Codicil (dated 27 January 1871) appended. Testator revokes his bequest of his household goods and personal effects to Thomas Clarke. He now bequeaths them to the said Thomas Clarke and Sarah Elizabeth Downham.
