Glad holiday is over; prison not best place to spend it. Cell now changed to sunny side and, better still, looks out on Camden Road, so that she could wave to anyone standing there. Gives times and exact position. Worried that she may be called as a witness for Mrs P. [? Pankhurst]. Asks him to get advice from Women's Social & Political Union (WSPU) solicitor, Mr Marshall. Makes suggestions over possible visit. Also ask for advice on protest against longer sentences. 'Miss Rowlett looked awfully down'. Worried also about Mrs Richmond's health. Suffragette Field Day previous week. With obstacle, potato races etc., at time of visiting magistrate's visit. 'I am wondering if I'll know how to talk at meal time after another three weeks of this quiet'. Grateful to Mrs Theekling for visiting the children each week. Undated, Easter Monday 1912.
