Pankhurst writing from Santa Monica California. Explains telegram she sent Oct 1 asking her to 'keep lecture title and topic to the movement itself' The movement was not a 'family party'; each member of the Pankhurst family was completely individualist in thought and action. Concentration now should not be on the past history of the movement but on the use of the vote; on getting more women into Parliament and getting them into the Cabinet. Concerning her father; she can depict him in one sentence 'He was another John Stuart Mill'.
