Concerns his intention to stay out of town until the King's decisions about the current state of politics have been made and his thanks for the 4th Duke's help with "my young soldier who shows courage a hunting on a bad horse. I have not mentioned a word of the contents of your letter, to my wife". Written from Wentworth Castle. Signed: "Strafford".
