Scope and Content

This report, written in two different hands, contains a breakdown of the ships (frigates, sloops, yachts) surveyed in port belonging to the King and gives a list of seamen "borne" and "mustered" on board the said ships and the number of ships refitted. Reference is made to Sir Edward Hawke and Mr Byng's squadrons in the report.
