Scope and Content

States that he was the son of Foulke ap Thomas, a descendant of Ririd Flaidd, Lord of Penllyn; that he was born 13 May 1651, married Eleanor, daughter of Hugh ap Cadwaladr ap Rhys of the parish of Yspytty, Denbighshire, and lived at a place called Coed-y-foel belonging to Roger Price, Esq., of Rhiwlas, before embarking for Pennsylvania, 3 February 1698
