Administrative / Biographical History

Rev Edgar Wesley Thompson (1871-1963) served as a Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society missionary in their Mysore District of India from 1894 until 1919 and as a general secretary of the WMMS from 1919 until 1934.

Stanley Sowton (1875-1958), contributor to and advocate for the Juvenile Missionary Association who worked in finance for the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society at Mission House, London, from 1906 until 1942.
