Sermon text begins:'Amongst the various potent opposites to Christ & his gospel, there is none more prevailing & pernicious then the wisodm of ye flesh ...'; the text ends: 'Wee are not Masters but Ministers, yet are we Ministers of Christ, & Stewards of the mysteries of God'. The Sermon was preached before the Right Reverend Father in God, Henry, Lord Bishop of London (Henry Compton).
