  • Edwin Elijah Gudridge (1834-1919) was converted as a young man in King Street Chapel Devonport. He entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1859 and exercised an active circuit ministry for twenty-nine years. In 1865 he moved to South Australia and served there for ten years, including some time spent in the mining districts around Ballarat. He returned to England in 1876. Source: Beckerlegge
