From [William Ernest] German at Wesley Villa, Pateley Bridge, near Harrogate, Yorkshire, to Lewis Court.

He is sending to Court the two volumes of the Bible Christian Magazine, one of which was formerly in the possession of [William] Oates, who Court may remember.

He is pleased that Court is enjoying success in gathering materials for the completion of his collection.

  • William Ernest German (1881-1951) was born at Neath in South Wales. Ill health prevented his entry into the ministry of the United Methodist Church before 1919, after which he served for twelve years in home circuits. Source: Beckerlegge and M R 22 March 1951, p.6
  • William Oates (1841-1906) was born at Hicks Mill in Cornwall, and was converted at the age of twelve by Revd. W. Haslam. he entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1866 and served for thirty years in home circuits before dying suddenly at Neath in South Wales.
