This sub-fonds contains 11330 black and white photographs chiefly related to Calvin Wells' professional work. These include images used in Wells' skeletal analysis and for the illustration of his skeletal reports. All of these images are black and white. There are also a collection of images which were used to illustrated both of Wells' books Bones, Bodies and Disease (1964) and Man in his World (1964). Also some images related to Wells' clinical study. There are 9 personal photographs of Calvin Wells' family, friends and colleagues.
