Scope and Content

Mail Art. This collaged image satirizes the Last Supper, French: Cena, with an absurd group of stamps gathering for fast food. The biblical Last Supper (of Christ) is a frequent motif across Musa’s practice in his painting and performances, e.g. his first presentation at SOAS (1992) was a performance based on the Cena theme; a painting titled Cena Musa, p.121, Deliss, ed. Seven Stories about Modern Art in Africa, 1995.
