Scope and Content

Mail Art. With this envelope, Musa offers a critique of celebrity and capitalist culture. He appropriates a stamp of Andy Warhol's iconic, influential print of Marilyn Monroe (1962) and collages it onto a medical diagram of a man's soft-tissue, in to which he sticks an array of big brand logos (cf. St Sebastian, Archive 26). Note 'hell' from Shell, also the name of a satirical newsletter Musa produced in the early 2000's.
