Scope and Content

In this pictorial letter, Musa draws an extension to a photograph of his wife and children "having fun" in front of his self-portrait Autoportrait avec les idees Noires (2003, Sarah Baartman and Josephine Baker). 44a is the source for Mail Art 44b

The donation was made to SOAS Library in June 2018 by Elsbeth Court, an academic who teaches African Art on the IFCELS course at SOAS, with the support and agreement of the artist Hassan Musa.
