Victor has drawn himself as a flower with his blue-coloured face surrounded by petals. He is being held at the stalk by Inge. He writes to Inge saying it was a pity she couldn't go to Glyndebourne. He suggests the Chelsea Flower show as an alternative arrangement, particularly as the 'weather forecast is quite good'. On the reverse, Victor writes 'For Inge'.
