Victor has drawn himself walking out of the 'Au Savarin' restaurant holding his stomach as though in pain. His whole face is blue and he looks back at the restaurant in fear. His left hand features two bright red patches. In the window of the restaurant is a joyful-looking, green Christmas tree decorated in baubles, presents and topped with a star. He crosses out the name of the restaurant and replaces it with 'Oh! Sufferin' as a play on the restaurant name. Victor writes to Inge stating 'This is becoming an illustrated vatalogue of illnesses' and apologises. The reverse of the note is blank.
