1960s 1/2 (chapters 12-13)

Contains Roger Berthoud's notes and source material for the chapters which covered the 1960s. There are letters to Berthoud from Kenneth Clark, Alexandre Rosenberg, John Hayes, Max Rayne, Lord Butler, P.M. Bardi, and Alan Clark; transcripts of interviews with Kathleen Sutherland, Elspeth Juda and Father James Ethrington; photocopies of Sutherland's correspondence and some press cuttings. There are also a number of photocopied maps by Graham Sutherland of the areas in Pembrokeshire where he used to sketch and find inspiration for many of his paintings, and a copy of the memorial sermon for Sutherland given by Father Ethrington of St Aidan's, East Acton.
