Scope and Content

Contains originals and copies of letters from Roger Berthoud to various persons connected to Graham Sutherland including Maida Barnes, Anthony Blee, Bernhard Baer, Eardley Knollys, Lord Rayne, Rory Cameron, Mary Soames, Kenneth Clark, Douglas Cooper, Alan Bowness and Felix Mann. There are also letters to and from various libraries, museums and institutes. The replies to most of these letters have been catalogued in the original order they were kept in with the chapters they relate to.
