Loose material from Roberto Sanesi, Poesia inglese del dopoguerra, Enciclopedia di cultura moderna, 2 (Milano: Schwarz, ca. 1958), comprising:

/1 Sanesi's name and address written in his hand on a scrap of paper. Inserted inside front cover.
/2 Letter to Nicholson from Sanesi [Italian poet and translator], relating to Nicholson's comments on Sanesi's Italian translations of his work. He discusses a number of specific phrases picked out by Nicholson and explains the readings he gave (28 January 1959). Dated at Milan, Italy; holograph. Inserted before half-title page.
/3 Letter to Nicholson from Sanesi relating to: his anthology containing some translations of poems by Nicholson; his current work on a history of English literature in the twentieth century, and a request for biographical, bibliographical and critical information about Nicholson to inform this work (16 November 1958). Dated at Milan, Italy. Inserted between contents pages (opposite page headed by Dylan Thomas).
