Loose material from John Barron Mays, The seasons change: poems (London: Fortune Press, [1953]), consisting of a letter to Nicholson from Mays, sent to accompany a copy of his book; he comments that Nicholson is a Northern writer who has been an inspiration to other lesser Northern poets.
