Scope and Content

By Robert Crompton of Bach near Chester, to Samuel Radford the Younger of Chester, linen draper, of a shop with appurtenances on the east side of Bridge St., Chester, part of the inn known as "The Plume of Feathers".

Term: 99 years, if Samuel Radford the Younger, Samuel Radford the Elder, his father or Daniel Radford, son of the said Samuel Radford the Younger, should live that long.

Rent: £5 yearly.

Consideration: Surrender of a former lease of the said shop, and £4.

Witnesses: Henry Lloyd Junior, Benjamin Dod, Thomas Birkhened.
