Scope and Content

In the penalty of £2000 by James Poole of Poole Hall, co. Chester, Bart to Charles Hurleston of Newton co. Chester, and Robert Crompton of Beeche co. Chester, and George Dodd of Highfields co. Chester, for the observance of an Indenture dated 9 May 1704, and for the protection of the said Charles Hurleston, Robert Crompton, and George Dodd against any losses which they might sustain on behalf of the said James Poole. Witnesses: John Kighley, Tho. Penson.
