A holding company, formed in 1931, to unite Rowntree, the Savoy Confectionery Company and Mackintosh's North Kerry Manufacturing Company.
Savoy Cocoa Company Ltd, incorporated 24 April 1915, acquired by Rowntree 1926, renamed Rowntree and Co (Ireland) Ltd 2 November 1926, renamed Associated Chocolate and Confectionery Company (Dublin) Ltd 12 September 1932, renamed Rowntree Mackintosh (Ireland) Ltd 30 June 1960. (NB also Savoy Cocoa Co Ltd, incorporated 23 November 1926, renamed Rowntree Mackintosh (Ireland) Export Ltd).

Savoy Cocoa Company Ltd, acquired by Rowntree in 1926, was renamed Rowntree and Co (Ireland) Ltd on 2 November 1926. The company was subsequently renamed the Associated Chocolate and Confectionery Company (Dublin) Ltd on 12 September 1932.
