To his mother, says he is planning a visit to Matlock with Col. Sword [Edward Roland Sword, 1899-1983, soldier] to hear a lecture [the School of Military Intelligence was located at Matlock]]; tea with the Mcloeds and had a long talk with Roderick Mcloed who came over from Sandhurst. Lunched at a boarding house of Sherborne school, and also saw Capt Forsyth.
