Sunchild Ltd of Stanraer, Scotland, a manufacturer of children's wear, was established in 1963 out of a takeover of the existing business of Mr S.C. Chib. It was registered company no. 39179 at Companies House. Sunchild Ltd was bought out by Pasolds Ltd in 1968. The name of the company was changed to Pasolds (Sunchild) Ltd in 1984. In 1992 the company's assets and liabilities were sold to CV Apparel Ltd, a subsidiary of Coats Viyella which by this time also owned Pasolds Ltd.
