People of Conwy Oral History Project

Produced as part of a wider HLF project to build and develop the Conwy Culture Centre (opened Dec 2019). It was a vital element to the Activity Plan that during the course of the project a flagship exhibition would be created using oral histories and testimonies from a select group of Conwy residents. A series of outreach activities took place in 2019 to search for potential candidates, of which 12 were selected. Project also included a community engagement activity led by oral history specialist Lisa Heledd Jones in Llanrwst Library in February 2019.
