Scope and Content

1 Joannah Hudson of p. St George Bloomsbury, Middlesex, widow, and. Samuel Wragg of London, merchant. 2 Rebecca Barton, widow and administrix of John Barton, dec. Release from all manner of suits and debt. Recites an order of the Court of Chancery, dated 9 Nov. 1731, in a cause between Thomas Barton and the said Joannah Hudson, brother and sister of the said John Barton, plaintiffs, and the said Rebecca Barton and others, defendants, which ordered the succession of a mortgaged copyhold estate and of a freehold estate, the death of the said Thomas Barton by which the suit was abated, and his will, dated 29 Jan. 1731, leaving his interest in the estate of his brother John Barton to his four children Thomas Barton, William Barton, John Barton and Ann Barton, and a letter of attorney, dated 23 May 1733, of the said four children to the said Samuel Wragg.
