Scope and Content

Copy address from the sheriff, JPs, deputy lieutenants, commissioners of the Land Tax, and other gentry and clergy of co. Ang., to [Richard Bulkeley, fourth] viscount Bulkeley, reciting no. 19, and also reciting that on enquiry the persons mentioned by Sir Arthur Owen and Lloyd Bodfel disowned the memorial, and that Sir Arthur Owen had been imposed upon by Mr Sergeant Hooke, chief justice of this circuit, to sign the memorial, and the current signatories declare their dislike of the proceedings, and express the general satisfaction of the inhabitants of the co.
