Poem of 11 stt. each of 16 lines headed 'Moladh an Iarla Hearaich'. It begins, 'Cha mheas sibh e dhomh dana …'.
The poem is accompanied by a letter, dated 18 February 1867, written in English on faded white paper, from K. MacDonald, Scaristavore (?), to Dr Mackay (probably the Reverend Dr Mackintosh Mackay, later of Dunoon. In it Mr MacDonald mentions the song written for Lord Dunsmore by Neil Morrison, the Harris Bard.
