Scope and Content

Notebook bound in black boards. It contains mainly philological notes, taken by George Henderson when he was a student in Germany. The notes are written in several languages, e.g. Latin, Greek, English, Gaelic, French, and German. Some notes are written on loose sheets of paper.
There are also some notes on Irish history.
