Scope and Content

Part of a collection of Rob Donn's poems prepared for the press as is shown by the directions to the printer before each poem. The handwriting is very like that of Dr Mackintosh Mackay, who prepared for the press the edition of Rob Donn's poems published in Inverness in 1829. This Ms seems to have been one of those relied upon by the then editor and the poems here have been scored off as copied.
