Pentirch, and a seat in the parish church of Llanvair [Caereinion] next to (2)'s seat app. to Gelly now held by John Davies of p. Llanvair. Recital of a lease and release 24-5 Sept. 1753 between: (a) William James of Oswestry, apothecary; Margarett, his wife; (b) (1); and (c) (2), conveying m's and tmt's in t. Brynglass, p. Llanvair Carinion, then occupied by John Pryce and David Watkin, and the piece of meadow, t. Pentirch, then occupied by Widow Pryce, now by (2), subject to a proviso that (2) would pay £300 with interest on a day 'long past'. (2) has leased and released all the said property except the meadow and seat to William Morgan of Berthincows, p. Carno, co. Mont. Consideration: £300 for the entire property. Endorsed: Note by William Morgan of Berthincows [Perthencws, now Plas Llysun, Carno] to show deeds when required. In 18thC hands: 'Release of a piece of Meadow in Pentirch called llwyn y rhelem', 'no. (12)'.
