Elizabeth Vaughan, now deceased, represented by Sir Roger Mostyn of Mostyn and Dame Margaret his wife, executrix of Elizabeth Vaughan's last will; John Garnons, deceased, by his son Richard; Ellis Evans by a host of mediate and immediate descendants. The main force of this indenture, with its multitude of signatures and (perforce) fatiguing negotiations, is to vest the mortgage in John Owen of Crafnant for the residue of the original term of 500 years postulated in the 1753 document, and secure him a release in fee of three parts of Hafodgai out of four.
