by John Thomas [first husband of Margaret ferch Richard ap John Owen] to R. ap. J. Owen of all his claims to Pen Bryn, Bryn Ceirch ["kierch"], Maes yr Odyn, Ynys y Feirian. Some difficulty seems to have arisen about the interpretation of this document, since it was submitted for examination twice (25 July, 1639; 11 March, 1639-40) to some of the witnesses who had subscribed their names to it.
