This manuscript contains a history of Alexander the Great. The main text was copied in neat, clear lines in black ink, with red used for titles and chapter headings. There are occasional marginal notes in Classical Syriac throughout the text, and the final folios also contain geometric illumination and oversized Syriac letters at the bottom of the pages. The text's colophon states that it was copied by Giorgis Bar Zi'ā Bar Qašīšā Lechīn (?) in the Madenḥāyā script in 2219 AG (1808 CE). A note at the start of the text, however, states ''This manuscript was copied for me by the care of Benjamin Habaree the American Missionary at Urmia in Persia. It was collated with another manuscript which he borrowed from a convent five days journey away in the mountains of Kurdistan'' and is dated October 1886, R. A. Wallis Budge. It is more likely, therefore, that the colophon follows the original text from which this item was produced.
