This volume contains a treatise of Mūšā bar Kepha on the soul, comprised of 65 chapters (ff 3v-77r); a treatise by Mūšā bar Kephā, Bishop of Mosul, on resurrection comprising of 16 chapters and a dedication (ff 77v-166v); a treatise by Mār Yo'annes of Dira (?) on various theological matters comprised of 23 chapters (167r-176v), beginning with a table of contents (167r); and a treatise by Mūšā bar Kephā on paradise entitled Ktābā d-Pardesā comprising of 28 chapters (176v-242r) beginning with a table of contents (ff 176v-177r). The beginning of the text is a table of contents of the two treatises by Mūšā bar Kephā (ff 1v-3r).The text is copied in black ink with red used for headers, catchwords, and geometrical illumination at the header of the first treatise. There are numerous occasions of marginalia and righting in different directions intended to illustrate the content of the text. The volume measures 335 mm x 240 mm.The manuscript was copied by 'Abd al-'Azīz bar Giwargīs in 1894 in the estrangelā hand.The manuscript was copied in the Nestorian script in the same hand throughout, likely in the 19th century in the vicinity of Alqosh, Iran.
