New Testament in Greek (London, 1728)

Scope and Content

Written on the fly-leaf is "Gronow Owen, Fryars, Bangor, Jany 4, 1739 (-40)" [Goronwy Owen] and also a statement made about Goronwy Owen by Jas. Davidson, dated 2 December 1757. The statement notes that Goronwy Owen gave him this Testament and a copy of Cywydd y Farn, when he was about to sail for America. Unfortunately, neither Goronwy's signature nor the statement look genuine contemporary scripts - they are almost certainly in the hand of the "R.H. Thomas" on the opposite page [copied possibly from originals]
