It was meant for the St. James's Chronicle, 18 February [no year given], but whether it actually appeared there is not certain. Signed Staffa, who may have been the Rev. Hugh Davies. It is all a bit curious in face of Johnson's well-known remarks in praise of Pennant's Tour in Scotland.
